The Daisyheads

The Daisyheads were a band in Adelaide, South Australia, 1991-1996.

Unjay: Rickenbacker electric 12 string and Vox
Peter McIver: Electric lead guitar and Vox
Lachlan Coles: Bass
Ray Shepherd, Jeff Algra, Tom Stehlik, Jo Dodsworth: Drums (at different times of course)

Considered at the time to be on par with Charlatans, Rain Parade, Stone Roses, The Daisyheads’ real influences were however Beatles, Kate Bush, U2, The Church, The Go-Betweens, The Waterboys and R.E.M.

The Daisyheads recorded one EP, “She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not”, and were working on a full-length album when they broke up. It has been in very limited circulation under the name “Rarity”.
